A few days after the Pogrom, the husband of Father's sister Antoinette, our beloved uncle Hermann Wolf from Luxemburg, sent his driver, Mr. Brix, in the enormous American "Chevrolet" limousine, to bring the two boys to safety.

Uncle Hermann had enough influence so that the relevant administrative and immigration formalities for the boys were formalized retroactively, "post facto."
